I’ve been helping out my old youth pastor’s wife with her work-from-home business, mainly packaging shipments and helping with cleaning and such. Today I got to spend a couple of hours with their 4-year-old daughter and it was delightful. I have very little experience with kids so it was fun to learn more about how their minds work and how lovely their imaginations are. I wish adults hung onto that imaginative thinking – makes me think of a quote I once heard: “The creative adult is the child who survived.”
I also returned to Trader Joe’s today after 6 weeks on leave for a sprained wrist. Feels good to have stuff to do again.
